Cosmina Doiciulescu
Founder & President / CEO
Cosmina Doiciulescu is the founder and current president and chief executive officer of ChatterBox Theatre Society. She is applying not only her professional business expertise, but also her creativity and love for children and the arts, bringing to life the wonderful experience of ChatterBox Theatre Society. She holds an MBA degree with a major in Finance and a minor in Strategy from the Mariott School of Management at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.
Prior to founding ChatterBox Theatre Society, Cosmina held leadership roles and managed large teams for several corporations in North America, Europe, and Asia. Cosmina is passionate about developing solutions to help organisations succeeed. For this reason, she has focused on innovating and optimising business processes for all the organisations that she has served. Her innovative nature also inspired her to design and implement the new interactive concept of children’s theatre performed by Chatterbox Theatre today. Beside her passion for business and organisational development, Cosmina is also interested in developing Calgary’s artistic sector. She believes in the great potential of many local young artists, and she is determined to offer her full support to promote them as valuable assets of the community.
Cosmina is a mother of two and a Calgary South community member. She is concerned with the wellbeing of her community with a focus on the youth sector. Over the years, she has initiated projects in her community, offering support to different groups.
Alisha O’Neill
Director of Board for Human Resources
Alisha O’Neill is a Senior HR Strategic Partner with a large energy company, based in Calgary. She brings nearly 15 years of strategic experience in all aspects of the human resources cycle from recruitment, workforce planning, performance management, compensation, and succession planning.
Alisha also has experience leading large people-focused transformation projects, including the launch of robust career & development tools, next generation learning platforms, and compensation programs to drive cultural change. Alisha holds a Bachelor of Management degree in Human Resources & Labour Relations (Hons.) from the University of Lethbridge, as well as her Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation. She is a committed volunteer, and Board of Directors member, who is enthusiastic in supporting the non-profit organizations she aligns with by helping them realize their full potential.
Professionally, Alisha is passionate about driving culture, team effectiveness, learning, and career & development. Personally, she’s passionate about her family, theatre, and gardening.
Stephanie Gom Treasurer of Board
Stephanie Nguumbur Gom is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), senior accountant in the forestry industry and the treasurer and board of director at the ChatterBox Theater Society. With over a decade of combined accounting education and experience, Stephanie is trained at optimizing ChatterBox’s ability to offer young audiences’ quality, meaningful theatrical experiences through accounting and financial knowledge. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Bowen University and a post degree diploma in Business Administration and pre-professional accounting from North Island College.
Now a CPA, she is passionate about applying her knowledge towards enriching the lives and experiences of people in the community. Also being entrepreneurial and solutions oriented, she has proven skills of turning the most difficult challenges into the most rewarding opportunities in her past business ventures.
Stephanie enjoys various physical activities like dancing, exercising, and swimming, whether solo or with friends. She reads / listens to an audio book a month on topics on personal development, biographies, and thrillers. In that spirit, she is exceptional in relating with diverse age groups and uses that skill in giving back through various long-term community involvements. Stephanie previously volunteered at Better at Home and Senior Support Services where she offered help and companionship to senior members of her community. On the other hand, her love for children also led her to provide mentorship as a big sister in the KidStart program.
Stefanie Wei Treasurer of Board
Stefanie sits on the board of the Chatterbox Theatre Society as Director of Board for Advocacy. Ms. Wei holds the Chartered Financial Analyst and Chartered Professional Accountant designations.
Ms. Wei currently works in the investment management industry. She received her Honours Bachelor Degree of Computing and Financial Management from University of Waterloo. She also earned her Master of Quantitative Finance from University of Glasgow. Previously, Ms. Wei was employed at PwC Consulting in Toronto where she provided advisory services on risk measurement and management. Prior to that, she worked within the Systematic Asset Solutions team at Aberdeen Standard Investments in Edinburgh.
Having traveled to a dozen countries in Europe, she is thrilled to help bring the power of performing arts to the early childhood development of Calgarians. She spends her free time exploring the Rockies, photographing and volunteering in local communities. She was a past board member of Glasgow University Consulting Society and a participating artist of Calgary Art Walk.
