Our Story Writing Project allows children to workshop creative story writing with our team. The one-hour event is an interactive workshop where children create an educational story through shared experience and creative reflection. The story will help children navigate complex emotions and social scenarios to strengthen their emotional and social intelligence. We help them use their creativity in developing the storyline and build their confidence by participating in group conversations, sharing ideas, and offering support to others. Additionally, children will have a safe space to encourage artistic self-expression, where they will learn, laugh, and grow with their peers.

The Story Writing Project for Teens is a workshop for teenagers, where they will work with their peers to create a humorous, educational and interactive children’s story that encourages positive values. These stories will be educational, teaching children positive emotional and social skills while raising awareness of complex social scenarios (e.g. bullying). Stories selected for showcasing with children will help them navigate the complexity of making the correct decisions while educating them on social issues to encourage dialogue in an immersive and creative manner. In addition, these stories will encourage resilience amongst local youth while providing the teens with professional experience in theatre and story writing.
