Story Building: children & isolation

We invite all children between the ages 5 and 12 to join our Story Writing Team for our virtual story building event! In a one hour Zoom session, we will ask children to participate in some virtual activities, share their stories and experiences, and express their creativity by making a story with our team!

Our team—that consists of experts in child psychology and development, story/script writing, and more—is looking forward to learning and understanding how young children experienced isolation while also giving them a chance to be a part of the creative process. By giving the children the opportunity to join the conversation and communicate their thoughts in a safe environment, it allows them to build their communication skills, and become more comfortable expressing their stories, feelings, and ideas!

After the session, our team of story writers will create a fully developed children’s story that will be considered for future productions in our children’s theatre. Our creative team will also develop a video based on the outcomes of the session (with your consent) to offer support to others in the community.
